Chambered in .30-30 that has survived 100+ years in the mountains of Montana. This well maintained classic rifle shows the exterior metal surfaces, including the 26” octagon barrel and full magazine, have retained most their original finish. The receiver shows strong coloring, and the action is smooth and tightly functional. The lever and trigger are tight with no wobble, and the loading gate spring remains strong. The screw-heads are clean. The bore is bright and sharp with no discernable rust. The butt-stock and fore-stock have the original finish but show dings and marks consistent with 100+ years of use. Looks like swivel screw in base of butt stock was installed, removed and filled. The wood has the original finish. The Serial Number is D7403. Pictures show condition including rifling. $45 ships to your FFL. Cannot ship direct. Would consider package deal with my other Marlin 1893 for sale on this site.
