You have clicked on an iconic Marlin Model 1893 mfd. in 1906 chambered in cowboy delight, rare and desireable 38-55. This rifle is fantastic for a 115 year-old trail partner. The well cared-for rifle shows much of the original metal surfaces on the 26” octagon barrel and full magazine. They have maintained much of their original finish. The lever shows coloring, and the action is incredibly smooth and effortless maintaining tight clicks with no slop. The lever and trigger are tight. Loading gate is fine. The bore is bright and sharp. The butt-stock and forearm have the original finish and reveal wear consistent with 115 years of use. The Serial Number is 348797. Crescent plate in great condition. Pictures show condition and rifling. Stamping looks great. Shipping to your FFL for $45. Cannot ship direct. Would consider package deal with my other Marlin 1893 for sale on this site.
