Antique Colt 1851 Navy London Model .36 Mfg in 1855 with all matching numbers on 8 various parts of this gun. London Colts had their own separate Serial number range. Action functions roughly and the cylinder does not line up or index properly. 7 1/2" barrel with a very good bore with strong lands and grooves. The Colt 1851 Navy London was only manufactured for 4 years in London and 90% of those mfg in 1855 were assigned to the Army of the Crimea. Numerous differences in London produced Navies from their American facility were British proof marks, Steel back strap, large trigger guard, contoured walnut grips, and hammer spur bordered and curved just to name a few. Hard to find true London Colts in this model. Great display piece from London.
