Presenting a 100 per cent condition Deutsche Waffen-Und Muntion Fabriker Artillery Model Luger in caliber 9mm. Year of Manufactuer in 1917 with serial number 1291. It has the 8 inch barrel on the firearm. It doesn't have the factory box nor paperwork for the firearm.
The firearm is from the collection of LTCol. Thomas D. Smith, Olympic Gold Medal winner and record holder from 1963 with the US International Pistol Team with a 597 out of 600. It was officially unbroken twenty five years and remains untied or unbroken even today. Added to his history he was a Vietnam figher pilot, adventurer, and survived a plane explosion He also holds patents on the TDS reticle system used by other companies. His story is also told at the NRA musuem .
