Description:
Smith Corona near mint Model 1903-A3 24" barrel, .30-06 chambering. Four groove rifling, MFG October 1943. The left side of the buttstock is stamped "OG", and the underside of the straight pistol grip is marked with a P. Has specified Hatcher Hole on left side of receiver. Excellent condition. The rifle retains 90+% of the original parkerized finish with only some light cycling and edge wear. The overall condition is very good. The action is strong and smooth. This example has retained a bright bore throughout. The stock is sturdy with minimal handling wear and a subtly attractive grain. wood is very good with some scattered oil spots, minor dents and nicks. All markings are very clear. Barrel shows R. A. with flaming bomb with punch mark and the date 5-44 near the front sight. Bolt marked R.
Completely functional and shootable.
