This flintlock muff pistol is marked London but was made in Birmingham. The overall length is approx. 6"". The 2"" round 46 caliber smooth bore turn off barrel has a good bore with light wear. All the metal has a smooth brown patina. The barrel has Birmingham proof marks. The left side of the frame is marked TWIGG and the right is marked LONDON. Both have decorative markings around them. The grips are good with a small chip on the left at the junction with the frame at the trigger guard. The Top jaw screw is a replacement. This pistol features a sliding frizzen safety pin. The action functions but the mainspring is weak. Reasonably priced at $495.
