The Winchester model 69-A is proof that God loves the squirrel hunter !!
Here's the .22 that is probably responsible for the demise of more squirrels and rabbits and
varmits than any other Winchester ever made ! No wonder,,, It's got perfect balance and swings, points and aims like a
part of your arm. Besides that , don't try it, but you almost have to run over it with a truck to hurt it.
This little guy is right at eighty years old ( same as I), and shows no sign of misuse.
It has a properly mounted Weaver 2.5 scope, made in El Paso, TX. This is the correct scope for the rifles age.
The blueing is fine and so is the wood, no cracks, splits gouges and the like. Two small stains on the stock. They have no effect on stock's function.
Bottom line is, this 69-A in an excellent gun that is Ready for the field with the perfect scope
