Description:
Here's a rare sword a KGK wooden scabbard sword, made in Columbia , SC, A VERY UNIQUE PIECE IN UNTOUCHED CONDITION.
The wooden scabbard is in wonderful condition with original mounts and wood there is a number 874 etched in the wood. This sword has escaped the post war sword fighters that tore the heck out of these wonderful scabbards all original nails present as well- On the center of the right side wood is a hairline crack originating from a now lost to the ages brass or silver plaque, boy, I wish that presentation was still there, non the less, the left side is perfect as new. the sword itself has a mottled blade as one would expect and a wonderful  grainy leather grip with original single strand iron wire there are no marks , scratches or elements showing any micky mouse tinkering or handle replacement at the tang as well the grip and sword itself is tight as new.. If you ever wanted one of these this is the one to have--it is my favorite confederate sword--a real eye catcher and always admired.
