Description:
A factory letter accompanies this incredible three digit Triple Lock Target detailing its original shipment on March 28, 1910 to the Bowen Brothers Hardware Company in Augusta Georgia. The gun is equipped with a 6 1/2” barrel, original bright blue finish, adjustable KING target sights and a magnificent pair of original Roper Target stocks. Knowledgable collectors are aware of the extreme rarity of early high condition Triple Locks; this is Serial No. 449.

Overall the condition is outstanding from end to end with the gun retaining a truly impressive amount of the original high luster blue finish showing only faint handling evidence and aging with just the slightest wear at the muzzle end. Note the King reflector base with an undercut front sight blade along with the adjustable rear target assembly which has a white outline rear sight blade. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Bottom line an infinitely cool investment grade S&W Triple Lock Target which will make a valuable addition to any collection!

Buyer pays $40 for fully insured shipping.
