EARLY COLT 1911 U.S. ARMY
1911 U.S. Army .45ACP Semi-Auto Pistol. Manufactured in 1917. Blade front and flat top notch rear sights, the two-line/two-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, the Army nomenclature on the reverse, and a "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marked frame with inspection mark on the left side. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, smooth mainspring housing, checkered grips, a numbered (44793) pinned base magazine. Beautifuly non-factory blued. Condition is very good as refinshed, scattered minor pitting. The grips are good, with a slight ding and scuff. Bore has great lands and riflings and shiny throughout.
Mechanically functions excellent. Fully shootable.
