Description:
The Remington Model 1867 Navy Cadet Rolling Blocks were made by Springfield Armory utilizing Remington actions and chambered in 50-45 centerfire cadet or also known as the 50 U.S. Carbine. These rifles were made for and marketed to military schools and cadet corps quasi-military boys organizations popular prior to and at the turn of the century. The .50-45 was a lighter recoiling round appropriate for smaller stature shooters than the other .50 caliber rounds of the day. This rifle appears to be an armory rework, as were many of the rifles from this period. This would be a great addition for any collector. None
