This outstanding example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 made for our GI's in 1943 for ww2 made it through ww2, Korea and possibly Vietnam to be rearmored and come out of the armory 1/1/1958. It has not been fired since. Once more, the last person to fire this weapon was the armorer that finished this 1911 in January 1958. It has been waiting in a box for a long time preserved by waxed paper. Since being refreshed by the armory, this is an unused brand new firearm with impressive credentials. Suitable for framing or shooting,(I did not) This can complete a collection. This gun is functional, no doubt. 2750.00 and 45.00 shipping will get it to you.
