Sold...Dan...A beautiful and nostalgic watercolor painting by an accomplished and well known American artist named Nick Buongiorno (Born 1908 deceased late 1960's). This watercolor of a group of 5 boys sledding and throwing snowballs on a snowy street in New York City is a wonderful depiction of Americana at its finest. These boys are having a Big Time...look at their facial expressions. This is a large original watercolor measuring 33 inches wide by 22 inches tall not including the frame. Signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner. Nick was the nephew of Donatus Buongiorno, a well known and accomplished artist. Nick painted scenes of big city life, mostly of New York City. The painting remains in great condition with no issues, vivid colors. Looks like this painting could have graced the cover of the "Saturday Evening Post". The new owner should have it re-matted with archival glass. USPS Priority Mail is 40.00
