Description:
This is a very high condition example showing vivid case hardening and most of the original barrel blue. The action is tight and crisp and the bore is bright with some spotting. The walnut butt stock is excellent with a clear cartouche at the left wrist and inspectors initials at upper rear near butt plate. There are also inspectors initials on the barrel at upper breech. This gun is chambered for the 56/52 Spencer cartridge.
