Description:
WWII Mauser (byf code) P-38 made December 1943, holster dated 1944. Not import marked. All numbers match, except mag. Great bore, strong rifilng. WaA 135 stamped slide. As to be expected, bluing is thin on high spots & forestrap: overall pistol retains 93%+ bluing. Bakelite Grips have no chips or cracks. (When these pistols were made the finish was not a big concern. The tooling marks on the Mauser P-38s weren't polished out as well as earlier Walther P-38s pistols, but were better than the Spreewerk P-38s.) Not import marked. Holster is in excellent condition, marked gxy 1944. Compare to other sites.
