This is an outstanding example of the Sharps Carbine. This example was one of the examples that was converted to fire the .50-70 centerfire cartridge. The lock and frame shows nearly 90% original color case hardened finish. The barrel shows nearly 97% original blue. The stock and forearm are fine. The stock shows some minor abraisions and handling marks. The stock also features 2 excellent and nearly perfect cartouches. The bore is mint and appears unfired. Mechanically perfect.
