Description:
Nice mid-grade sideplated August Francotte made with splinter forend, double triggers, side clips on barrels, straight hand English stock and 1" Silvers type recoil pad. Made with extractors and auto safety. Gun is nicely engraved with light rose and scroll pattern throughout and inlaid gold "S" in front of safety. Silver oval near toe.
Gun is sound with good bright shiny bores and excellent mechanics. Gun is nice and tight on the face and ready for many years of reliable service. Stocks are sound having been restored long ago. Gun retains about 30% case color, 70% original blue. These are quite high quality guns that are very much under-appreciated in the marketplace today!!!
