The Wolverine pistols were produced between 1955 to 1962. This pistol's serial number is 26799. it has the standard 4 1/2 inch barrel. The bore is in very fine bright condition. The action works smoothly and locks up snug. The blued finish is original to this pistol. The bluing does show some very light wear, especially around the muzzle area. The original finish would rate a 96% or better condition. The brown plastic grips are in very fine condition with no damage or cracks. The magazine is a correct original magazine. These magazines hold 10 shells. This pistol shows some very light shooting. There is no abuse or alterations done to this pistol. This was a well cared for pistol! The box is in fine condition. This box is serial numbered to the pistol. The yellow plasic liner has some damage along the top of the pistol's sight area around were the muzzle and breech fit into the plastic. The cardboard box itself is in very fine condition. There is a compartment in the liner for a box of 22 Long Rifle shells. These Whitney Wolverines are very collectable!
