SUPERB GEORGE BEITZINGER ENGRAVED BELGIAN MAGNUM MAUSER .458 WIN. MAG. EXPRESS RIFLE CA. 1980’S. 24” barrel with 3 leaf ramp Express rear and ramp and hood front. Barrel engraved “GEORGE BEITZINGER-N.Y.”. English style barrel swivel band mount. Custom scroll engraved and blued receiver, floor plate, trigger guard and barrel. Engraved and case hardened stock bolt escutcheons and pistol grip cap with trap door. Case hardened bolt. Walnut checkered stock with ebony forend cap. 14 ½” pull. Weight 9 ½ lbs. As new condition one owner gun. Appears unfired with mint bore. By the infamous George Beitzinger of Long Island, New York, formerly of Griffin & Howe and one of the finest American sporting rifle makers of the late 20th Century.
