Smith&wesson model 624 No Dash - 44 Special made for only a short time. 1985-1988 This is a target model with target trigger and hammer. It has never been fired. New Condition with the original box. 61/2" barrel and also with target grips.
There was a recall on 500 S&W 44 spl. And 44 magnum Stainless Revolvers. Some 44 Special model 624s would chamber 44 Magnum cartridges and could be dangerous. The circled red C on the box means the factory inspected this one and there are no issues with the recall. Also these model 624 Revolvers were a special limited order run for Lew Horton and are not found in the regular gun value books under Smith&wesson.
