Description:
Very nice rifle in hard to find 375 H&H caliber. S/N 469155 with matching scribed bolt made in 1960. 25" Barrel. Mirror bore and excellent mechanics. 98% Blue, 95% Varnish with a few scattered marks and a very tight crack following a grain line at tang which has been repaired and reinforced from the inside. Factory original solid red pad as issued on all 375s is still soft and in excellent, unbulged shape. A vast majority of seasoned big game guides and large game cullers throughout the world agree that the 375 H&H is the greatest caliber ever for this work, and the one that I have personally trusted for nearly 40 years of guiding Grizzly hunters here in Alaska.
