Description:
1943-1944 manufactured National Postal Meter M1 Carbine. This rifle falls into the 3rd block of production. This M1 has been reworked and is a mixture of different parts from different manufacturers. The barrel is marked Buffalo Arms and dates November of 1943. The I-cut high-wood stock is in very good condition but has been refinished. The stock sports a type-II barrel band and a Standard Products butt plate. The muzzle erosion gauges at a 3 and the bore is in great shape. This M1 passes headspacing tests and is in great mechanical condition.
