This is an excellent U.S. inspected WWII 38 Special Colt Commando revolver. The 4"" barrel has a like new bore. It is marked COLT COMMANDO. The Ordnance inspection stamp is on the top left of the frame behind the cylinder. This Commando retains approx. 98% of its original parkerized finish. The checkered Colt medallion wood grips are fine with light wear. The action functions correctly. This is a hard to find U.S. martial WWII revolver.
