VET'S BRING BACK, TULA ARSENAL SVT 40,CAL. 7.62 X 54R. SER. 5808 MFG. 1943. THIS VET'S BRING BACK NATURALLY HAS NO IMPORT MARKS. IT WENT THRU ALMOST THREE YEARS OF WWII AND DOES SHOW MODEST WEAR. THERE ARE NO ELECTRO PENCILED PARTS. THE BOLT IS FACTORY STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM WITH A NON MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER AND THE RECEIVER HAS A BOXED SA. THE BOLT, RECEIVER AND TRIGGER GROUP HAVE RETAINED ABOUT 80-85% OF THE ORIGINAL FINISH. THE METAL HEAT SHEILD AND BARREL GROUP HAVE TURNED TO A SOFT BLUE GRAY PATINA. THE WOODEN STOCK AND FOREARM HAVE SURVIVED SURPRISINGLY WELL WITH MANY SMALL NICKS AND DINGS BUT NO CHIPS OR SPLITS. THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BUTT IS STAMPED WITH AN "A", A "TULA" STAR WITH AN ARROW IN IT AND 1943. THE BORE DOES SHOW SOME USE, HOWEVER IT IS QUITE BRIGHT WITH VERY SHARP RIFLING AND A SCATTERED LIGHT FROST. IT COMES WITH ONE NON MATCHING SVT-40 MAGAZINE.
