Description:
General Specs: Winchester, Year 1939, .22 LR, 8lb 6oz, LOP 13 15/16"
Serial Number: 3641

Beginning production in 1938, the Model 75 was first advertised in Winchester's 1939 catalog and was aimed at target shooters and cadet forces. Chambered for the .22 Long Rifle, the rifle proved to be an accurate and dependable gun. The gun's light weight combined with ergonomic designed especially for the prone position, the Model 75 was a consistent favorite especially among younger shooters. The gun showcases a elegant tapered barrel, a bolt carefully headspaced to tight tolerances and a lead-lapped barrel for smoothness from breech to muzzle. Drilled and tapped for telescopic sight blocks it also accommodates a detachable front sight with changeable apertures and a Redfield 75HW micrometer receiver peep sight.

This early, low numbered 1939 gun displays a mirror bore, externally 99% factory blue and a LOP of 13 15/16", it has a crisp trigger pull of 3.5lb and a five shot removable magazine. The rifle is stocked with American Walnut featuring a very comfortable pistol grip and a semi-beavertail fore-end which includes an adjustable sling swivel mount, sling mounts are included. The sights are factory fitted and made this rifle an upgrade over the standard M75 when it was ordered, its original manual and pamphlet is included.

Production of the Model 75 stopped in 1958 with almost 89,000 made, 16000 of those being supplied to the U.S. military during World  War II.
A bit of target shooting history, make it a favorite shooter of yours today!
