Arisaka type 99 Last Ditch 7.7 mm, 26". Tokyo Juki Kogyo manufactured, under supervision of Nagoya Arsenal. This rifle is a late-war produced gun (1944 to be exact), with no type-marking, rougher machining, wood butt plate, and simple sights. The rifle is in very nice overall condition, considering its means of rushed manufacture and age. Some finish wear is present, however no corrosion is present and the stock is in great shape. The bore is in superb condition, as shown. This is a really remarkable example of a very collectible type 99, and would make an excellent addition to your collection!
