This Smith & Wesson Model 1905 .38 Special Revolver is an early example of Smith & Wesson's classic, high-quality revolver designs which have become increasingly valuable in modernity. This Model 1905, or the Military and Police Model of 1905, is a K-frame, six-shot, hand-ejector with a swing-out cylinder. This revolver features a checkered walnut grip, color casehardened trigger and hammer, and a blued finish to the barrel. The right-side of the barrel is marked ".38 Smith & Wesson Special Cartridge", while the left-side reads "Smith & Wesson". A smith & Wesson logo appears on the left-side beneath the cylinder.
