This Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 .44 Magnum Revolver is of the last Model 29's before the major changes, it consisted of the pinned barrel and recessed chambers that were discontinued on the 29-3 to save on machining costs. This revolver features a N-target square butt frame, six shot, fluted cylinder, double action, solid rib, red ramp front sight, target adjustable rear sight. This classic design also incorporates a smooth walnut grip with a checkered interior and signature Smith & Wesson medallions embedded on each side, a color casehardened trigger and hammer, and blued finish to the barrel, cylinder, and frame. This desirable Model 29-2 is accompanied by its original factory box of corresponding serial numbers.
