Manufactured in 1905, this Colt Single Action Army, also referred to as the Single Action Army, SAA, Model P, or Peacemaker, is a historic revolver of over a century ago which has maintained a handsome appearance considering its age. The Colt Single-Action Army was commissioned as the standard military service revolver between 1873-1892, developing the reputation as being a reliable, high-quality revolver that packs a punch. The black, checkered grips feature the signature Colt horse on each side, the blued barrel is marked “38 W.C.F.” on the left-side, and the receiver is marked “Pat. Sept. 19. 1871. – July 2. 72. Jan. 19. 75”. This legendary Western revolver was popular with ranchers, outlaws, and early law enforcement, with its historical significance equating to a valuable addition to any collection.
