This sale offers a very good condition John Wilkes, side by side, 12 gauge backaction hammergun. This piece is equipped with 30” nitro proofed steel barrels chambered for 2 ¾” shells and are choked cylinder and modified. The rib is marked J. Wilkes. 31, Gerrard St, London, W. The English style straight grip stock is nicely checkered and in very good condition. The stock dimensions are as follows: LOP-14 ¾”with a Kick-eez recoil pad, DOC-1 ¼” and DOH-1 ½”. The weight of the gun is 7 lbs. 1 oz. Here is an opportunity for the vintage enthusiasts to own and shoot a classic English gun in a side by side hammer event.
