We have a beautiful James Purdey & Sons two barrel set 12 gauge with full beaver tail forearm. looks to have been built in July of 1895. We have the orginal Purdey service paper work from 1979 for small repairs and adjustments. The upset is, One set of barrels has "sleeved" stamped on the plate and it has a Miller trigger that replaced the purdey double tigger. (This is why its priced so low) This is a great gun for someone wanting a Purdey but not wanting to pay that exellent grade highend price. Wood and pad are in great conditon. This is a shooter and will still look nice on your wall or in your cabinet. I've been in Contact with Purdey about this shotgun and awaiting more info.
