This Colt was produced in 1979 with a serial number of N B 2688 was one of 3000 pistols produced. This nickel plated pistol has the special fancy glass top display box with pull out drawer and six nickel display shells. Also included is the original shipping box and inserts as well as the original papers and hang tag. This fine commemorative weapon is brand new being unturned or ever fired. The original plating is minty with no issues. The display box is in new condition with no scratches or marks. This pistol has the 12 inch barrel with the target front sight. The flat top frame has the fully adjustable rear sight which is correct for the New Frontier model Colts. This pistol commemorates Ned Buntline who was known to present long barrel Colts to his friends and people of note. This 45 Colt honors him and his long barrel Colts that were given his name as Buntline specials.
