Offered is a Collath Drilling marked 16 ga. over 8mm x 72R.The 8mm x72r does not seem to be accurate. The chamber does not appear to be 72mm but more in the 58mm range. Years ago, I loaded 32/40 for it and was pleased with the results. I'm not selling this gun as a shooter but, a collector's piece The bluing shows good overall coverage with some thinning in places.Wood shows some dents and chips but is otherwise sound checking is still sharp. The 28" shotgun barrels are pitted and there's is a shallow dent on right barrell (see pictures). The rifle has a decent bore with strong rifling.. The scope appears to be of high quality and the optics are clear. The engraving by these German master engravers is of a quality that I feel has never been equaled since that period. Unique to my experience, is the full length figure of a hunter dressed for that period with a feathered cap. Antique so no paper work. $45 shipping
