On Hold Sale Pending. US Springfield Model 1868 50-70 caliber trapdoor army rifle in full original configuration. The full length 32.5" barrel with front and rear sight present and a good bore. The lock is marked US Springfield dated 1864 with tha American eagle. The Breach block is marked US 1870 with the eagle head and crossed arrows. The serial number is matching 33,645 (1870 Production) on both the receiver and barrel. The front and rear sling swivels are missing. Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00.
