Browning certainly achieved that goal, as this rifle has been a popular semi-automatic .22 design since its 1914 introduction. This Browning SA-22 features a smooth, dark 2-piece walnut stock with a glossed finish, a tubular magazine accessible through the buttstock, checkering at the rear and for grips, a push-button safety, trigger guard bearing the Browning deer logo on the bottom side, adjustable rear sight paired with a fixed front sight post, and delicate scrollwork engraved in the receiver’s blued finish. Accompanied by a factory box of corresponding serial numbers, this SA-22 makes for a valuable addition to any collection, or an enjoyable takedown sporting rifle for all ages.
