*** SOLD *** SOLD *** "Collector grade" 1965 (first year of production) Savage 99DE Citation Grade (serial # 1088333) in the very desirable 243 Winchester with 22" barrel that remains in "just about mint" condition and unfired. Prized by many in the eastern part of the United States as the most desirable of of the CE, DE and PE series of 99s, because of the running whitetail buck engraved on the bottom of the receiver, that hunters and collectors in this part of the US can relate to. The 99DE does not come along very often and by far is the rarest of the CE, DE & PE series of engraved guns. Look at the pictures !! The DE was manufactured from 1965 to 1970 and was one of the first factory engraved guns since the 99K in 1940. The satin silver finished receiver has excellent coverage factory engraving with scroll on the left and the right side of the receiver and a running whitetail buck on the bottom. The Monte Carlo stock and forearm are made of highly figured American black walnut with fine hand cut checkering. This amazing Savage 99 DE can be yours if you call or e-mail. $90 S&H to most of the lower 48. Eight far west states at $100 S&H.
