This is a mint and unfired 1998-production Lew Horton limited-production Colt Single Action Army in .45 Long Colt with a 4.75" inch barrel. This gun looks like it left the factory yesterday rather than 23 years ago and comes complete with everything it left the factory with. This limited production gun was a Lew Horton exclusive and features factory-installed gold-finished screws in a otherwise standard blued and color case-hardened Single Action Army. This Colt is as pristine as they come. The factory gloss blue finish rates 99% with only the smallest hint of a drag-line between two of the cylinder stops, otherwise there are no visible defects or wear/handling marks. The original color case-hardening on the frame is also like-new and rates 99%, with no wear, handling marks, or fading of the bright and handsome colors. The special gold finish on the action screws is pristine and bright, and the polished sides of the hammer are mirror-bright and free from any staining or marks. The bore in the 4.75" inch barrel is perfect, showing sharp rifling and zero imperfections or wear. The chambers in the cylinder are equally as pristine as the bore. The factory grips are in perfect condition, free from any cracks, chips, wear, or repairs. Both grip panels are perfectly fit to the grip frame and tight with no wiggle. The action on this Colt is smooth, slick, and perfectly "in time". All of the controls are in 100% like-new working order. This Colt is 100% complete with everything it shipped from the factory with and could not be upgraded-from in any respect. If you have been looking for a scarce 3rd Generation Single Action Army variation for your collection this would be a superb choice.
