Description:
Vintage John Newton full tang fixed blade knife in great condition. Knife measures 11 1/4" overall length. Blade measures 6 7/8". The blade is bright and shinny does with only a few scratches. See pics. Tang is stamped John Newton & Co Sheffield England on one side and is stamped with a frog on the other side. See pics. The handles are a grayish jigged bone bone. Knife is all tight with no loose parts. Blade has good edge and very sharp. Original owner must have knew how to properly sharpen a knife because there are no deep scaring scratches. Guard is nickel silver. The sheath light tan leather. I do not believe it is original to the knife, but it fits very well and is in near perfect condition. See pics. Blade fits inside the sheath nice and snug. These blade is read to use or display with pride in your collection.
