Manufactured between 1960-1961, this Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum is an example of the many Smith & Wesson revolver designs that positioned the brand’s reputation far above the competition of the era. Of these, the Model 29 is particularly historic, as this revolver displays traditional Coke bottle-style checkered diamond grips embedded with silver Smith & Wesson medallions on each side, a color casehardened trigger and hammer, blued finish to the frame, cylinder and barrel, serrated back strap, and a u-notch rear sight paired with a fixed red ramp front sight post.
