Description:
Beretta 682L 12 gauge O/U skeet gun. Made in 1984 this Skeet Special seems to have been a very limited run and might be identified as a 682 Gold Skeet.
Special factory features of this gun include: deep/bright blue barrels and trigger guard, premium case with Anniversary case label, bright silver finish hand engraved receiver with a gold inlayed crown, gold wire model designation.
The 26 ½” barrels have a low, 3/8” wide vent rib, front and middle beads. Fixed Skeet chokes. Vented mid rib for barrel cooling.
Single selective trigger; non-automatic safety; adjustable trigger
The nicely figured Walnut stock has a right hand palm swell, 14 3/8” LOP over a factory 1” pad with 1 ½” DAC and 2 ¼” DAH; also there is ¼” RH cast.
Overall condition is excellent: 99% finishes on the metal and 97% on the wood with just a couple of handling marks. The gun is perfect mechanically.
Today you have to purchase an SO from Beretta’s custom shop to get a hand engraved shotgun and that is 5-figures and up!!
