Manufactured in 2006, this Ruger No. 1 Falling Block, chambered for the .204 caliber round, is one of the finest single-shot rifle designs on the market today. This classic, Farquharson-style design incorporates a strong, compact falling-block breech mechanism with artillery-style breechblock and under-lever which is ideally suited for today's powerful cartridges. This rifles also incorporates a cold hammer-forged barrel providing precise rifling, sliding tang safety, red Ruger recoil pad, steel grip cap housing a gold Ruger Medallion. This traditional Ruger No. 1 also features a black rubber recoil pad, smooth walnut 2-piece stock with multi-point checkering at the rear and fore grips, in addition to sling swivel studs, a blued finish, an adjustable folding leaf rear sight paired with a fixed front sight blade, and an Alexander Henry-style forend. Accompanied by its original factory box of corresponding serial numbers containing the manual, additional paperwork, a set of scope rings, and a lock, this No. 1 makes for a valuable addition to any collection.
