This very fine type III (fixed rear sight) Browning High Power pistol has the expected Nazi WaA140 proof marks on the frame and slide. It retains approx. 95% of its wartime blue finish with light spotting on the left side of the slide. The wood grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. The bore is fine with frosting in the grooves. Due to what appears to be a factory error, the serial number has an overstamp of an identical 1 in the one hundred digit position on the frame, slide, and barrel. The action functions correctly. This fine pistol comes with an excellent clg44 marked High Power holster.
