SMITH & WESSON MODEL 48-3 MASTERPIECE MAGNUM 6-shot , double action revolver in .22 Magnum caliber (M.R. F. MAGNUM RIM FIRE) with highly sought after 8 3/8" pinned barrel with solid rib (12mm wide) under adjustable target rear sight, ramp front sight (6mm wide), case hardened trigger and hammer, fluted/recessed cylinder, 3-screw "K" frame, matching serial numbered checkered walnut grips with S&W signature medallions. The bluing is deep and glossy , all original with over all 99+%. The cylinder has a very faint circumference line; the bore is bright and glossy. This is an extraordinarily nice S&W revolver, 100% original and believed to have been made in the late 1960's.
