[PENDING as of 5/23] This was Winchesters attempt to corner the 22 caliber market in designing this proprietary round. Not interchangable with 22 LR.I is a marvelous piece of engineering and sweet shooting action rifle. It is a take down.Magazine is in the butt stock.Very rare and only produced 3 years I believe. Ammunition is still produced by the custom loaders. Aquilla[SP] nd others. But I have with it a brick of 500 original ammo.and a couple boxes of the newer mfg rounds. Wonderful gun for any serious Winchester collection and conversation piece.
