Description:
An authentic 2nd addition Colt Cap and Ball 1860 Army four screw Revolver in 44 caliber. These guns were made by Coly and the serial numbers were continued from the first or original models. This gun is the four screw model that has an extra screw on both sides of the frame that protrude to form an anker for the shoulder stock. There is also an indentation on the bottom of the grip for attachment of the stock. They were called 44 caliber although they used 45 caliber balls and bullets. This gun has some very small pin pricks on the left rear of the frame, otherwise in in excellent condition. It comes with the original box.
