Description:
A good sound Springfield Civil War rifle with a 1863 dated lock. The bore is lightly pitted and the three grove rifling is strong. The gun has been cleaned and the stock refinished. The wood is sound and all markings have been removed. The metal is bright and shows pin prick pitts throughout. It has the original sights and parts.
Antique, no paperwork required.
