On Hold Sale Pending. Model M-1855 Colt Sidehamer Pocket revolver first model percussion 28 caliber revolver. I believe this is the first model serial number 4563 on the cylinder and but plate which should be first year production in 1855. The wood grips are very good and appear original. The mrtal is a grey brown with partially visible cabin and Indian scene still visible as well as well as Colts Pat. 4563 still visible on the cylinder. The address on the barrel is strong reading "Colts Pat. 1855 Address Col. Colt Hartford Ct. USA". The hammer does not quite hold back and the action does not always fully rotate.
