FINE CONDITION BISLEY WITH HARD TO FIND 7 1/2" BARREL IN .32-20 CALIBER, #250XXX, MADE 1904. A really nice example that shows good bright blue on the barrel and ejector with the usual gray streak down the left side of the barrel, a touch of thinning blue to gray on the right side at the muzzle, and on the outside of the ejector housing from typical holster carry. The cylinder shows thinning blue on the outside with fine blue in the flutes. The back strap and butt show good dulling-from-age blue with bright blue in the protected areas. The front strap also shows good aged blue with some thinning/mixing gray in the upper area behind the trigger guard bow. the frame is dark mottled with nice case color on the forward portion of the frame sides in front of the cylinder and darkening/ageing case colors on the bottom of the frame sides below the cylinder and on the recoil shields and hammer back. Excellent screws with the more protected ones showing fine fire blue. Unaltered front sight, nice lightly worn grips are unchipped and fit perfectly with some bright blue on the frame sides forward of the grips. Tight action with four clicks to the hammer and excellent bore. Matching numbers. Long barreled Bisleys are hard to find and this is a nice very nice 117 year old example!
