According to the big Smith book, only 38 of these were made in 2002, assembled in the Performance Center, 4" midnight blue bbl, 38 special, commemorating the progenitor of the modern swing out cylinder, s/a, d/a revolver. This one is New, with box, papers and has lived in a safe since 2002. Factory fired only. Special machinery was necessary for the production, note the absence of front locking lug, also the old time hammer style. The firing pin is the modern style located in the frame. Super hard to find.
