Excellent example of an iconic American rifle. Winchester Model 1873 in 44-40 caliber second model manufactured in 1882. Bore is in excellent condition. Documentation letter from Winchester has already been done. But I also have copy of the email from the grandson of the original owner helping document its origin which appears to be with the National Park Service in the Pacific Northwest. Original cleaning rod. Wood in nice condition. I have shot this rifle and the action is nice and smooth. Afterwards, it was professionally cleaned, conditioned and lubricated. Ready for a new home.
